A Five Picture Guide to Retail Marketing

Retail Marketing In a Nutshell

Your experience for the customer is the amusement park

Your widget is the souvenir

Put another way, marketing is just the frosting on the cupcake of experience.

You’re upside down when you think its all about marketing, social media and PR.

If they’re not buying, its probably because you’re giving them a rotten experience at the amusement park

So you discount the souvenir, hoping that brings them in

And that’s nuts

To avoid discounting your premium brand, bring the Bob Phibbs Experience to your brand, event or team.

  1. Fun way to look at marketing. Also, they just may not be buying because your product is horrible. So to put it into your terms .. the product recipe and ingredients are critical.

  2. Compelling and succinct. Nice work Bob!

Marketing for new guests is six times more expensive than retention. The point is the experience starts at the front door and ends there. like every good movie or ad make sure that your director is doing just that and a “whole” experience is what your guests will get. In these times it’s all gotta be good, it’s the people that make the difference
