When is an item considered dead and ready to be donated?

Q: “When is an item considered dead and ready to be donated?”

A: When you're tired of it. You do a sale and it's 60% off and they're still there after two weeks, just give the stuff away.

Merchandise doesn't magically get better with age. It's probably shopworn, it's out of date.

I'm still be surprised in July and there will be people with Easter candy out at 60% off.

It's like, people are going to say, "You know, let's just get Easter eggs for the kids. We'll put them out for Labor Day."

No one's going to do that. Get it away and be done with it.
