What is a mentor program?
Quite simply, a personal advisor to help you reach your goals. It is one-on-one, while my consulting programs oftentimes involve working with a team including the owner, the manager, etc.

How The Mentor Program Works
As an exclusive members of the mentor program, you receive 90 days of access to me through a variety of mediums, including by mail, e-mail, phone, Skype, or iPhone FaceTime. I return all phone calls within 90 minutes (provided I’m not speaking somewhere) and all written correspondence within 24 hours. If convenient, we can even meet in person.
We begin with a free 30 minute call to make sure this program is right for you. In this call we will:
- Create a crystal clear vision of where you want your business to be in 12 months.
- Create key milestone objectives
- Uncover hidden challenges that could be sabotaging your business success plan.
- Leave the session renewed and re-energized
After deciding whether the program seems like a fit, we’ll establish our mentoring goals. Based on your specific needs, we choose those areas that are of highest priority and create a detailed 90-day game plan. We generally choose about four or five areas and establish formal schedules for those completion dates. Your unique mentoring plan may include:
- How to handle prospects
- Creating effective marketing materials
- Setting and reaching sales goals
- Leveraging your website
- Following-up on leads
- Developing your brand
- Reviewing products
- Management of employees
The plan will include specific completion dates, and formal, scheduled contact times to discuss accomplishments and any obstacles preventing short-term tasks from being completed. A premium mentor program will also be available as a companion course to my book The Retail Doctor’s® Guide To Growing Your Business.
Mentoring Program Structure
- You have 90 days of access to me.
- We meet weekly for 30 minutes.
- If something comes up that can’t wait until our session, you can call me up, e-mail me, or contact me via Skype or iPhone FaceTime.

The fee is required in advance to begin the process or to claim a place on the waiting list. The fee may be paid in installments, but the process doesn’t begin until payment in advance is received. The fee is non-refundable, no exceptions after 30 days.
The fee distinguishes those who are serious about their business and is easily recouped through increased business and/or higher fees. I call it an investment because you are paying to better yourself – you reap the words more directly than any ad or book could offer. Admission is limited.
